Valentines day... One of LDR's worst nightmares.Valentines day is coming up and most couples that can't see each other, tend to lose romantic ideas for that special day for that special someone. Which really sucks. So I have some great ideas and tips on what to do for Valentines day.

Gifts

1.) A Jar Full Of Kisses
A jar full of kisses is a jar full of Hershey kisses in one jar. Clearly... BUT... To add your own romantic spice to the gift, you can put your own little note on the front of the jar! Or in it, it doesn't really matter.
2.)The Care Package
Of course the care package plays a well role in the typical Valentines day gift list. Everyone has done this before. However, you can change it up and decorate the care package and make it valentines themed or whatever you want it to be. If your s/o like candy, put LOTS of their favorite candy into the box!
3.)Jewelry
Of course if your girl wears jewelry, Then get her a necklace, or some diamond earrings.. Or maybe something that can be more meaningful.. A charm bracelet. Once you get this, you can add charms of your choice that remind you of her so she'll know how much you love her/know her.

Advice

1.)Dates
Dates through Skype/Face Time are kind of hard to do because you really aren't face to face. Plus it could also be a sad day because you both can't be there for each other. Just make the most of it. It's the best you can do. Add some fun to it while you're at it! Make a fun game to play or ask some fun questions! Make a virtual dinner date or something! Be creative!
2.)Presents
To make things interesting, wait to open your Valentines day gifts on Valentines day and open them one at a time so you can see their reactions because trust me, it's the best feeling.
3.)If you can...
If you can (financially) try flying out to see your s/o then do it because the best gift you can give is give yourself to them for a week or so. Even try surprising them! That's always the best! Come with balloons (Shaped as hearts of course) and flowers if you're visiting her. If you're going to visit you're boyfriend just show up with a big bear or something, all men are different.




But overall just make the best for Valentines day because it's a day to celebrate love and friendships; To tell each other how much you appreciate them and their love they share with you. It can be fun and creative if you're in a LDR. Just stay positive:)
